Press Ups

Day 5 of the July 200 press up challenge.  Up at 6am again this morning to get the first 100 in, doing the same method of 10 reps x 10 sets, this time I cut the rest down to 45sec from 1 min.  These were repped out well and I felt good.

The second 100 have not been that easy.  I got in from a long day in work, straight out on the bike for a 22 mile bike ride up one of the Cumbria passes - Whinlatter.  So once I've come in had some food and then trying to get the second 100 press ups in, really struggling!  But at 9pm I completed them watching the Tour de France.

Analysis

Good day today, it managed to keep my cals down and slowly upping my protein intake.

Bike Ride

Lovely day in Cumbria today so me and Paddy headed out this evening.  Did a 21.8 mile bike ride, which took us over Whinlatter, and I had some very squeaky breaks that I need to look at.  Had 1,866ft elevation gain, and we averaged 13.7mph.
